Emirates Receives Five Global Awards at the 2025 World Travel Awards
Emirates is concluding 2025 with five new global recognitions at the 32nd annual World Travel Awards in Bahrain. These awards add to the more than 20 honours the airline has received this year, which acknowledge its brand presence, in-flight entertainment system ice, First Class experience, First Class Lounges, and the Emirates Skywards loyalty programme.

Industry Recognition Across 2025
In November, Emirates was voted ‘Best Airline in the World’ for the eighth consecutive year at the Ultratravel Awards, based on votes from Ultratravel’s global community. The airline also received awards for Premium Economy Class and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation, presented to Sir Tim Clark. Aviation Business Middle East recognized Emirates with awards for First Class and Airline of the Year.
Emirates has earned several prestigious awards from the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025, including ‘Best International Airline,’ ‘Best International First Class,’ and ‘Best International Airline Lounge.’ Additionally, the airline was recognized as ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ at The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025. Sir Tim Clark was honoured with the Distinguished Achievement Award by the Wings Club Foundation.
At the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in September, Emirates received two awards: the 2026 APEX Best Global Entertainment Award for ice and a 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS award for its customer experience and brand performance.
In early 2025, Emirates received several awards, including ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ at The Telegraph Travel Awards and ‘Most Recommended Global Brand of 2025’ by YouGov. Additionally, the airline excelled at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, winning titles such as ‘Best Airline Worldwide,’ ‘Best First Class,’ ‘Best Premium Economy Class,’ and ‘Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.’
