Azharuddin Shaikh Appointed Director of Sales at Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi

Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi has appointed Azharuddin Shaikh as Director of Sales.

Shaikh brings over 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a background in sales leadership, revenue management, market positioning, and business development across hotel and travel sectors.

Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Sales at Hyatt Regency Pune, where he was involved in driving commercial performance and supporting business growth initiatives. His tenure included nearly three years across two stints with the property.

Prior to this, he held the role of AGM Sales at Aamby Valley City and has also worked with Marriott International, Skil Travel, Citrus Hotels, and other hospitality organizations.

His experience spans corporate and leisure segments, with a focus on sales strategy, client relationship management, and market expansion.

In his new role, Shaikh will lead sales strategy and business development efforts at Fairfield by Marriott Belagavi, supporting the hotel’s growth across key market segments.

This appointment marks his first leadership role as Director of Sales and reflects continued movement in hospitality leadership positions within the sector.
