Sterling Receives 85 Awards Across Tamil Nadu Flower Shows
Ooty and Kodaikanal Recognition Highlights Sterling’s Landscape Efforts
Sterling Holiday Resorts has received 85 awards across the 128th Ooty Flower Show and the 63rd Kodaikanal Flower Show 2026, reflecting the company’s continued focus on landscape development and horticultural management across its hill station properties.
The awards were presented across a range of categories, recognising garden maintenance, landscape design, floral displays, herbal gardens and horticultural collections at Sterling’s resorts in Ooty and Kodaikanal.
At the Ooty Flower Show, Sterling’s two properties secured a combined 44 awards. Sterling Ooty Elk Hill received 35 awards, including recognition in the Herbal Garden category, while Sterling Ooty Fern Hill earned nine awards, including honours in the Best Lawn category.
In Kodaikanal, Sterling’s resorts collected 41 awards. Sterling Kodai Lake received recognition across 36 categories, including an award for Landscape Design, along with honours for floral arrangements, flowering plants, foliage collections and medicinal gardens. Sterling Kodai Valley added five awards, including recognition for garden maintenance, landscape design and medicinal gardens.
Together, the four resorts cover nearly 33 acres of landscaped grounds. Gardens, lawns, herbal collections and destination-inspired outdoor spaces form an important part of the guest experience at the properties.
The company said the awards reflect the efforts of its horticulture teams, who work throughout the year to maintain and develop the landscapes across its resorts.

Commenting on the achievement, Dileep Nair, Senior Vice President, Sterling Holiday Resorts, said the recognition acknowledges the commitment of the company’s horticulture and resort teams and reflects years of consistent participation in the Ooty and Kodaikanal Flower Shows.
He added that the company remains focused on maintaining green spaces that support biodiversity, preserve herbal and medicinal plant collections and contribute to nature-based guest experiences in Tamil Nadu’s hill destinations.
Sterling also recognized the contribution of its horticulture, housekeeping, engineering, security and operations teams, whose combined efforts support the maintenance and upkeep of the resort landscapes throughout the year.
