Hilton Ranked Among Leading Hospitality Employers in South East Asia
Hilton has been ranked No. 2 on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in South East Asia, positioning it as the highest-ranked hospitality employer on the list. Produced in partnership with Great Place To Work, the inaugural South East Asia ranking highlights organizations that support employee development and maintain strong workplace cultures.
This recognition follows Hilton’s earlier workplace accomplishments, including being named a leading global and regional employer across multiple markets such as Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Singapore.
Alexandra Murray, area vice president and regional head of South East Asia at Hilton, noted that the ranking reflects team member feedback and reinforces the impact of creating an inclusive, people-focused culture that supports professional growth and wellbeing.

Hilton continues to shape work environments grounded in career development, mentorship, and community engagement. Several team members across the region illustrate this commitment:
Nitchakarn Prasoppol and Achara Thongdee at DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort demonstrate Hilton’s focus on building supportive and growth-oriented teams.
Tran Duc Minh, a commis chef at Hilton Garden Inn Da Nang, entered the industry through a partnership between the hotel and STREETS International, supported by the Hilton Global Foundation.
Chef Lord Carlo Bayaban, executive chef at Hilton Manila Newport World Resorts, progressed through structured development programs and now supports local producers by integrating locally sourced ingredients.
Richard Chew, executive pastry chef at Conrad Singapore Marina Bay, transitioned from a previous career into hospitality and now contributes to product innovation and mentorship.
Hilton’s internal data indicates that team members value the workplace culture: 93% believe the company is a great place to work, and 87% feel confident about achieving their career goals within the organization. Fortune and Great Place To Work evaluated confidential employee surveys from organizations across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines to compile the final ranking.
