Qatar Airways has announced its upcoming schedule of international events and partnerships that will position Qatar as a central destination for sports, culture, and innovation.

The airline will connect visitors from more than 170 destinations worldwide to a series of major global events taking place across the country over the coming months.

The line-up includes the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025™, the Qatar Airways Formula 1® Qatar Grand Prix, the FIFA Arab Cup 2025™, and Web Summit Qatar 2026. These events underscore Qatar’s ongoing role as a host for international tournaments and conferences.

Through Qatar Airways Holidays, the airline is offering travel packages that combine event tickets with flights and accommodation. The packages also include options for Qatar Airways Privilege Club members and additional services designed to encourage visitors to explore the country’s tourism offerings.

Steven Reynolds

Steven Reynolds, Senior Vice President of Qatar Airways Holidays & Discover Qatar, said, ” Qatar has established itself as a trusted destination for the world’s most prestigious events. At Qatar Airways Holidays, we are proud to play our part in welcoming the global community – from football fans and motorsport enthusiasts to business leaders and innovators. This season of events represents not only Qatar’s ambition, but also our commitment to delivering excellence both in the skies and on the ground. At the same time, Qatar continues to be recognised as a premier destination for travellers and families, offering a wealth of activities and experiences that perfectly complement these world-class events.”

The FIFA U-17 World Cup will take place from 3–27 November, followed by the FIFA Arab Cup™ from 1–18 December, culminating on Qatar National Day. The Qatar Airways Formula 1® Qatar Grand Prix will be held from 28–30 November at Lusail, with combined flight and race packages available online.

In early 2026, Qatar will host Web Summit Qatar from 1–4 February, bringing together global technology leaders and innovators. The same month, tennis fans can attend the Qatar TotalEnergies Open (8–14 February) and the Qatar ExxonMobil Open (16–21 February), both of which are supported by Qatar Airways Holidays through dedicated travel and hospitality packages.

The airline’s Qatar Stopover Programme, starting from USD 14 per night, continues to promote the country as a transit and leisure destination, offering accommodation at select four- and five-star hotels for short stays.
