Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Introduces New Family-Focused Spaces and Experiences

The Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort, situated in Koh Samui, has unveiled redesigned spaces and programs catering to guests of all ages, marking a new phase in its family-focused hospitality approach. Nestled among tropical gardens and overlooking Bophut Beach, the resort’s updates emphasize the unique character of Koh Samui through a range of cultural experiences and activities tailored for both children and adults.

Creative Spaces for Younger Guests

The renovated Tree House Kids’ Club offers young guests a space for hands-on activities, including arts and crafts, cooking sessions, and beach explorations. The Samui Way of Life program introduces families to local traditions through guided meditation, palm leaf fish treasure hunts, and visits to the resort’s spirit house.

Older children can spend time at The Lounge Active Zone, designed for independent exploration. Activities include creative workshops such as tie-dye and coconut painting, Thai boxing sessions, body alignment workshops, cooking classes, and Thai language lessons.

Adult Retreats: Wellness and Active Living

While younger guests participate in activities, adults can spend time by the pool, walk through the gardens, or relax on Bophut Beach. The Anantara Spa features six standalone treatment suites surrounded by water gardens and offers a selection of Thai rituals and wellness therapies. Treatments for children, including the Little Prince Massage and Little Princess Party, are also available.

A new fitness centre is equipped with Technogym cardio and strength machines, and guests can access in-room workouts. Thai boxing and tactical defence classes are available for all ages at the boxing ring.

Shared Experiences

Families can explore the island through curated excursions. The Passage of the Lotus cultural experience introduces visitors to local religious traditions and landmarks, including visits to the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem temples, scenic viewpoints, and an elephant sanctuary. Boat excursions to Koh Tan and Koh Madsum offer opportunities to visit nearby islands, beaches, and coral reefs.

Family Accommodation Options

The resort features 106 rooms and suites, all designed in a contemporary Thai style. Two-Bedroom Pool Suites offer spacious accommodations for families seeking privacy and direct access to resort facilities. Deluxe Rooms have been renovated with views of the gardens or the Gulf of Thailand.
