Romeo Lane Dubai Appoints Chef Aakash Tyagi as Executive Chef

Romeo Lane Dubai has appointed Chef Aakash Tyagi as Executive Chef. He brings over a decade of experience in Modern Indian cuisine, with expertise in menu development, concept creation, kitchen operations, and team leadership.

In his new role, Chef Tyagi will oversee all culinary operations, including menu innovation, kitchen management, quality control, and team development.

Prior to this, he served as Executive Chef at Pincode by Chef Kunal Kapur across India and the UAE, where he was involved in launching multiple outlets and managing culinary operations. He played a key role in developing menus that presented regional Indian cuisine through a contemporary approach. Under his leadership, the brand received international recognition, including acknowledgement by the Michelin Guide in 2025.
Earlier, Chef Tyagi led the pre-opening of Suzy Q, Bengaluru, where he developed a menu inspired by coastal Karnataka cuisine and seasonal ingredients. He has also worked as Sous Chef at Raahi, Bengaluru, contributing to modern interpretations of regional Indian cuisine using techniques such as fermentation.
His professional experience includes roles with hospitality brands such as Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi, Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra, and Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
In his current role at Romeo Lane Dubai, Chef Tyagi will focus on curating a contemporary menu that blends Modern Indian and Japanese influences, while driving culinary standards and guest experience.
