Bharat Stars Partners with Netradyne to Enhance Aviation Safety
Netradyne AI Platform Strengthens Aviation Safety in Airport Fuelling Operations
Netradyne has partnered with Bharat Stars Services Private Limited (BSSPL) to introduce AI-powered fleet safety technology for aviation fuelling operations at Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru airports.
BSSPL is a joint venture between Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and ST Airport Services Pte. Ltd. (STARS), Singapore. Through the partnership, Netradyne’s Driver•i platform will be deployed across the company’s aviation fuelling fleet to support safer vehicle operations at airports.
AI Technology for Safer Airside Operations
Aviation fuelling is one of the most safety-sensitive activities at airports, with refuelling vehicles operating close to aircraft, ground support equipment and airport personnel. The deployment of Driver•i is intended to improve operational awareness and help reduce risks during daily airside operations.
The AI-powered platform continuously monitors vehicle movements using computer vision and edge AI, providing visibility into fleet operations throughout every journey rather than relying solely on incident-based recordings.
The system can detect early signs of driver fatigue and distraction and issue real-time in-cab audio alerts to encourage corrective action before incidents occur. It also provides collision warnings when vehicles are operating near aircraft, equipment or personnel on the airport apron.
Focus on Safe Driving Performance
Alongside identifying potential risks, the platform also recognizes safe driving practices through Netradyne’s GreenZone safety scoring system. The framework enables Bharat Stars (BSSPL) to monitor driving performance across its fleet while encouraging consistent and responsible driving behaviour.

JP Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Bharat Stars Services Limited, said the company has always maintained strict safety standards across its airport operations. He noted that the AI platform provides an additional layer of real-time support by helping identify fatigue and distraction before they lead to safety incidents.

Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President – India, APAC and Middle East at Netradyne, said the partnership reflects BSSPL’s focus on strengthening safety in airside fuelling operations through technology that supports operational awareness and compliance.
The deployment marks another step in the adoption of AI-driven safety solutions across India’s aviation ground handling sector.
