Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel Completes Comprehensive Redesign
Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel, which introduced the brand’s urban hospitality offering to the city in 2022, has unveiled a complete redesign following an extensive refurbishment. The transformation repositions the property as a contemporary urban retreat, bridging Dubai’s business district with a lifestyle-focused hospitality experience.
Meetings and events
The hotel’s redesign includes a revamped lobby with a striking cascading Bohemian glass sculpture, improved meeting spaces, and the versatile Mirage Ballroom. These updates enhance its status as a prime location for conferences, corporate events, and product launches in downtown.
The ballroom can host up to 550 guests, with eight meeting rooms ideal for groups of 5 to 40. Outdoor spaces such as Ziya Courtyard and the Pool Deck offer additional options, all supported by the hotel’s dedicated meetings and events team.
Rooms and suites

The renovation extends to all 252 guestrooms and suites, which have been redesigned to emphasise space, natural light, refined materials, and integrated technology. Room categories begin at 52 square metres with Superior City View Rooms, while larger Deluxe Suites and 184-square-metre Luxury Suites offer separate living areas suitable for extended stays or family travel.

At the top end, the Anantara Royal Suite spans 235 square metres and includes a private plunge pool and balcony. All accommodations feature king or twin beds, walk-in showers, separate bathtubs, refreshment centres, entertainment systems, and curated bathroom amenities.
Restaurants and bars

The opening of Ziya introduces an all-day dining venue in Business Bay, offering a menu inspired by global cuisines from India to Japan. The space is designed for business meals and social dining throughout the day. Mood Bar provides an evening-focused setting with live entertainment, while the Lobby Lounge serves afternoon tea and light refreshments.
Additional dining options include poolside service at the Pool Bar, Central American cuisine at The Girl & The Goose, Japanese dishes at Kimura-ya, and Indian cuisine at Punjab Grill.
Wellness and leisure

Anantara Spa continues to anchor the hotel’s wellness offering, drawing on Thai-inspired practices alongside international and Ayurvedic therapies. The spa menu includes treatments designed to address the effects of urban living, along with massage therapies, body rituals, and oil treatments.
Leisure facilities also include an outdoor pool, a fully equipped fitness centre, and access to guided Technogym workout programmes available throughout the hotel.

Located approximately 20 minutes from Dubai International Airport and close to Dubai Mall and Dubai International Financial Centre, Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel provides convenient access to the city’s commercial and leisure hubs. Guests can now experience the redesigned property through the Refined & Renewed Offer, available for a limited time and featuring added benefits.
