Sapphero Hotels Outlines Expansion Plans in Maharashtra and Gujarat

Sapphero Hotels, a technology-driven hospitality group with a notable presence in Shirdi, Gir, and Jamnagar, plans to expand across Maharashtra and Gujarat. The expansion aims to increase its presence in leisure, pilgrimage, and celebration destinations within both states.

Sapphero Hotels has organised its operations around technology-driven systems, structured processes, and guest-centred hospitality. One of its main properties in Shirdi is designed for weddings and social events, featuring landscaped lawns, guest rooms, banqueting facilities, and dining areas that support the group’s focus on celebrations.

The group uses a scalable operating model that combines accommodation, banqueting, and food and beverage services. This is supported by centralized sales, digital marketing, and distribution channels, ensuring consistent service delivery while providing flexibility to meet local market requirements.

Commenting on the expansion strategy, Shamitav Jana, CEO, Sapphero Hotels, said: “As travel and celebration-led hospitality evolve, our focus is on developing hotels that combine technology, operational efficiency, and local relevance. Maharashtra and Gujarat offer markets that align well with our long-term approach.”

With demand growing for destination weddings, social gatherings, and professionally managed mid-scale hotels, the group plans to expand at a measured pace. The next phase of growth will continue to focus on building value-led hospitality assets supported by robust systems, depth of leadership, and a clear regional strategy.
