AirAsia Transports 98,000 kg of Aid to Flood-Affected Areas in Southern Thailand
AirAsia has completed a relief operation, transporting over 98,000 kilograms of donated goods from partner organizations to flood-affected communities in Hat Yai and Narathiwat. The shipments were carried on flights from Don Mueang, Chiang Mai, and other provinces between November 24 and December 3, 2025, covering a 10-day period.
In addition to transporting aid, AirAsia has provided support for passengers affected by the floods, including free flight changes and credit account options for travel to or from Hat Yai and Narathiwat until December 7, 2025.
Mr. Santisuk Klongchaiya, CEO of Thai AirAsia, stated that the airline served as a central channel for delivering donations from across the region to the affected communities. AirAsia coordinated shipments from multiple regional hubs—including Khon Kaen, Phitsanulok, Udon Thani, and Buri Ram—using its Fly-Thru service and local airport support.

The airline has also partnered with the Mirror Foundation to provide 150 complimentary round-trip tickets for volunteers assisting with cleanup efforts in southern Thailand between November 29 and December 13, 2025.

AirAsia operates direct flights to Hat Yai from Don Mueang (7 daily), Suvarnabhumi (2 daily), Chiang Mai (2 daily), and Kuala Lumpur (1 daily). Direct flights to Narathiwat operate from Don Mueang (2 daily) and Suvarnabhumi (1 daily).
