Hyatt Opens Three New Hotels in Lingang, Shanghai

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of three new properties in Shanghai’s Lingang area. The hotels—Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang, Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Centre, and Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang—form an integrated hospitality destination in the Lingang business district, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

The properties are centrally located, providing access to attractions such as the Shanghai Astronomy Museum, Dishui Lake, Haichang Ocean Park, and L+SNOW Indoor Skiing Theme Resort. Guests can also reach downtown Shanghai easily via Metro Line 16 at Dishui Lake Station.

Design and Local Character

The hotels follow an “artistic exploration” design concept, featuring sculptures, paintings, and installations that reflect Lingang’s maritime heritage and coastal culture. Hyatt Regency Shanghai Lingang offers 305 guestrooms with lake views, themed family rooms, six dining venues, pet-friendly accommodations, and event spaces covering over 52,000 square feet. Wellness facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, and a dedicated two-story kids’ club is available for younger guests.

Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang Xinchen International Conference Centre connects to Hyatt Regency via an indoor sky bridge and features 364 modern rooms, flexible event spaces, and family-friendly accommodations. Hyatt Place Shanghai Lingang offers 128 rooms with kitchenettes and washer-dryer units, suitable for extended stays and family visits.

World of Hyatt Program

World of Hyatt members can earn an additional 500 bonus points for qualifying stays at these three hotels from now through February 28, 2026. The offer applies automatically and can be combined with other member promotions.

These openings expand Hyatt’s presence in Lingang and provide additional accommodation options for travellers in the district.
