Qatar Airways Increases Winter Flights to Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai and Singapore
Qatar Airways has increased flight frequencies to several key international destinations as part of its winter schedule expansion. The airline has added capacity on routes to Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Shanghai and Singapore to meet rising travel demand and improve connectivity through its Doha hub.

The expanded winter schedule also includes additional services to more than 15 global destinations, including Cape Town, Dublin, London, Phuket and Toronto. In total, the airline will operate nearly 3,000 additional flights this year, providing travellers with more options when planning international journeys.
Flights between Doha and Kuala Lumpur will increase from 14 to 17 weekly services starting mid-December, improving connections between Southeast Asia and cities such as Jeddah, London and Paris. Services to Lagos will also expand, with weekly frequencies rising from 10 to 14 during the winter period, supporting smoother travel between Nigeria and destinations including Delhi, Guangzhou and London.
Shanghai services will see an increase from seven to ten weekly flights between January and March 2026, addressing growing travel demand between China and markets such as Algiers, São Paulo and Warsaw. In addition, Qatar Airways will introduce the Airbus A380 on select flights to Singapore from January 2026, adding more capacity and updated cabin options on the route.
The airline continues to operate a mixed fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, with many planes equipped with Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi. Passengers in both premium and economy cabins have access to onboard internet services, subject to regulatory approvals at certain airports.
Bookings are available through the airline’s official website and mobile application.
