IHCL Signs New Ginger Hotel Project in Dimapur, Nagaland
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Dimapur, Nagaland. This greenfield project marks IHCL’s entry into the state and strengthens its presence in Northeast India.
Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Dimapur serves as an important economic and cultural centre in Nagaland. With growing travel demand and ongoing infrastructure development, this signing supports our plan to expand in the Northeast. We are pleased to collaborate with T.K. Enterprises for this project.”
Located near Dimapur Airport, the 90-key Ginger Dimapur will follow the brand’s lean luxe concept, offering a balance of comfort and functionality. The hotel will feature views of the city, flexible spaces for work and relaxation, an all-day diner—Qmin—serving global and local dishes, a bar, a fitness centre, and meeting spaces for business and social use.

Dimapur, the largest city in Nagaland, has a diverse economic base including trade, manufacturing, services, and transportation. With this signing, IHCL now has 19 hotels across Northeast India, including 10 under development.
