InterContinental Introduces Residential Living in Phuket
Morning light illuminates Kamala, first reaching the hillside villas before spreading over the Andaman Sea. Nestled between the coastal waters and the rainforest slopes, The Residences at InterContinental Phuket Resort offer a modern living environment characterized by an abundance of natural light, stunning landscapes, and a sense of ease.
Situated on the west coast of Phuket, this THB 2.5 billion (approximately USD 77 million) development marks the second residential collaboration between Proud Real Estate and IHG Hotels & Resorts’ InterContinental brand. This follows their earlier residential project in Hua Hin. The Phuket property enhances the brand’s presence alongside the island’s Two MICHELIN Keys InterContinental resort.

“Phuket continues to evolve as a key destination for travellers and homeowners,” said Vivek Bhalla, Managing Director for South East Asia & Korea at IHG Hotels & Resorts.
“This collaboration translates hospitality experience into residential living.”
Design Approach
Architecture by Habita Architects draws inspiration from Phuket’s Sino-European heritage, incorporating a restrained modern design language that features stone façades, courtyard layouts, and expansive balconies strategically positioned to maximize natural airflow. Interiors feature natural textures and understated detailing, linking the residences with the resort’s design story.

“We designed a home that breathes,” said Proudputh Liptapanlop, Executive Director of Proud Real Estate. “Light, material, and proportion work together to create everyday ease.”
Wellbeing and Sustainability
The residences are progressing toward Fitwel Certification, integrating environmental and wellness-oriented features such as solar energy systems, grey-water recycling, natural ventilation, and areas of green landscape.
Shared spaces include a fitness zone, hydrotherapy areas, an on-site café lounge, and access to the resort’s Sati Spa, as well as dining venues and concierge services. Residents may also access yacht arrangements, dining reservations, and wellness experiences through a dedicated service team.
Market Context
According to C9 Hotelworks’ Asia Branded Residences Market Review 2025, Thailand holds a leading share of branded residential developments in Asia, with Phuket accounting for a significant portion of resort-focused projects. Market demand has shifted toward homes that strike a balance between design, comfort, and service infrastructure.
Sales Information
The project offers 111 residences, ranging from one-bedroom suites to five-bedroom penthouses, all fully furnished and priced from THB 15 million. Sales are currently open at the InterContinental Phuket Resort, located on Kamala Beach.
