IHG Announces Crowne Plaza Budva Signing in Montenegro

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to open Crowne Plaza Budva in collaboration with Uniprom Hoteli d.o.o. The hotel will join Crowne Plaza’s growing presence in Europe and is expected to open in Q1 2026.

Crowne Plaza Budva will be located along the Slovenska obala promenade, approximately 70 meters from the Adriatic Sea and within close proximity to Budva’s Old Town and City Marina. The hotel will feature 81 rooms, a destination restaurant with sea views, a terrace overlooking the promenade, and a range of flexible meeting and event spaces equipped with modern technology.

The signing adds to IHG’s portfolio in Montenegro, which includes Regent Porto Montenegro, voco Podgorica, Crowne Plaza Podgorica, and Iberostar Waves Herceg Novi. Across the Balkans, IHG currently operates 12 hotels and has 10 in the development pipeline.
