Anantara Koh Yao Yai Launches ‘Sail, Stay and Stargaze on My SKY’ Experience

Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort & Villas has launched a new experience called ‘Sail, Stay and Stargaze on My SKY’, which combines luxurious land stays with a private yacht journey across the Andaman Sea.

Gateway to the Andaman

Set on Koh Yao Yai, one of Thailand’s less developed islands, the resort provides a tranquil base for exploring the Andaman region. Recognised by TIME as one of the World’s Greatest Places 2025 and named among the Top 15 Resorts in Thailand by Condé Nast Traveler readers, the property continues to design experiences that highlight the natural charm of southern Thailand.

A Journey from Land to Sea

The new three-night itinerary includes two nights at the resort in a pool villa or penthouse overlooking the Andaman Sea, followed by one night aboard the resort’s 55-foot yacht, My SKY.

At the resort, guests can relax by the infinity pool, dine outdoors under the stars, and enjoy the assistance of a villa host. Onboard My SKY, a captain, crew, and private chef ensure smooth sailing through the scenic Andaman waters.

Exploring the Islands

The yacht journey takes guests to several notable spots:

  • Chicken Island, for snorkeling among colorful coral fish and walking across shallow sandbanks at low tide.

  • Railay Bay, known for its limestone cliffs and secluded beaches accessible only by boat.

  • Hong Island archipelago, where guests can hike to panoramic viewpoints or swim in the hidden lagoon.

  • Monkey Island, home to macaques often seen playing by the shore.

Gourmet experiences include champagne sunsets, canapés, a chef’s table dinner under the stars, and a beach picnic on a secluded island.

A Thoughtful Approach to Island Hospitality
