AirAsia is connecting Northern and Northeastern Thailand with a brand-new route: Chiang Mai to Udon Thani, operating four times per week (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun).
This new service, starting 1 December 2025, also provides seamless onward travel to Vientiane, Laos, with fares starting from THB 999.
The promotional booking window runs from 3–31 October 2025, and seats can be booked via the AirAsia MOVE app or airasia.com.

Chiang Mai and Udon Thani are beloved destinations for both Thai and international travelers. By launching this new Chiang Mai–Udon Thani route, AirAsia offers a valuable, efficient option. We’ll operate Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats, four times weekly, helping boost tourism and connectivity in both regions.”
