IHCL Signs Ginger Hotel in Satara, Maharashtra
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of a new Ginger hotel in Satara, Maharashtra. The greenfield project will be developed in partnership with Ms. Vedantika Raje Bhonsle.
Located in the Satara MIDC area, the 125-key hotel will follow Ginger’s lean luxe format, featuring Qmin, the brand’s all-day diner, a conference hall, and a gym. It will serve both business and leisure travellers.
Commenting on the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said: “Satara’s mix of education, healthcare, and business creates consistent demand, making it a suitable location for Ginger’s growth. We are pleased to partner with Ms. Vedantika Raje Bhonsle for this project.”
Vedantika Raje Bhonsle added, “We are glad to collaborate with IHCL to bring the Ginger brand to Satara. This project will add to the city’s hospitality infrastructure.”
Satara is home to the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and industries in paper, paints, and consumer goods, while also being known for its natural and cultural attractions.

With this addition, the hotel group will have 43 hotels in Maharashtra, including 16 under development.
