Nishal Seebaluck Appointed General Manager at W Goa

Leadership Change Brings Global Hospitality Experience to the Property

W Goa has announced the appointment of Nishal Seebaluck as its new General Manager.

Nishal brings over 18 years of experience across luxury hotels and destination resorts in India, Mauritius and Morocco. His background spans operations, strategy and guest experience management.

An alumnus of the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, he began his career in finance at The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius. During this time, he transitioned into hotel operations, developing an interest in managing guest experiences and hotel performance.

Over the years, he has held leadership roles across food and beverage and operations. His previous assignments include serving as Executive Assistant Manager at The Oberoi Marrakech and, most recently, as Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore.

In these roles, he has been involved in strengthening operational processes, supporting business performance and contributing to brand positioning across competitive hospitality markets.

During his tenure at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, the hotel was recognised at the Travel + Leisure India’s Best Awards 2025. He has also worked with teams at properties featured in global rankings such as Condé Nast Traveler and TripAdvisor listings across Africa and the Middle East.

Outside of work, Nishal is interested in travel, food, and cultural experiences, which he brings to his approach to hospitality.

His appointment comes as W Goa continues to focus on delivering consistent guest experiences aligned with the brand’s positioning in the luxury lifestyle segment.
