Emirates Introduces Seasonal Strawberry Menu on UK Flights

Emirates has brought back its seasonal strawberry menu on flights between Dubai and the UK, following the airline’s Wimbledon-themed dining experience.

Available from 13 to 31 July, the limited-time menu features a selection of strawberry-inspired desserts served across all cabin classes, celebrating the flavours of the British summer.

Seasonal Desserts Across All Cabins

Passengers travelling from Dubai to the UK can enjoy:

  • First Class: Honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream
  • Business and Premium Economy: Strawberry tart with pistachio sauce
  • Economy: Cream cheese mousse with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel

On flights from the UK to Dubai, the menu includes:

  • First Class: Eton Mess with meringue, mascarpone cream and strawberry compote
  • Business Class: White chocolate cheesecake with strawberry and basil confit
  • Premium Economy: Strawberry panna cotta with strawberry coulis
  • Economy: Strawberry cheesecake with crumble topping

Fresh Strawberries from Bustanica

The seasonal menu uses Monterrey strawberries, sourced daily from Bustanica, the indoor vertical farm co-owned by Emirates.

The strawberries are harvested and served on board within hours, while the farm’s hydroponic growing system helps reduce water use and supports sustainable food production.

Strawberry Treats in the A380 Lounge

Passengers travelling on the Emirates A380 can also enjoy strawberry-inspired refreshments in the Onboard Lounge, including fresh strawberries and cream, strawberry lemon cake, and a selection of strawberry-based mocktails and cocktails.

Supporting British Strawberry Growers

Emirates continues to work with UK producers, including Blush and Hugh Lowe Farms in Kent, to source British strawberries for its onboard menus.

The airline’s cargo division, Emirates SkyCargo, has also transported more than 230 tonnes of British strawberries from the UK to the UAE since March 2026, supporting the export of fresh produce through its international network.
