flydubai Resumes Aleppo Flights

flydubai Launches Daily Aleppo Service from Dubai

flydubai has announced the resumption of direct flights to Aleppo, Syria, with a daily non-stop service between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Aleppo International Airport (ALP) starting 20 July 2026.

Aleppo becomes the airline’s second destination in Syria after Damascus, expanding flydubai’s network in the country and strengthening connectivity between the UAE and Syria.

Daily Service to Aleppo

The new route will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport and is available through the flydubai–Emirates codeshare partnership, allowing passengers to book a single ticket, enjoy through check-in and connect to a wider network.

Strengthening Regional Connectivity

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, said:

“We are pleased to resume our operations to Aleppo after nearly 14 years. The launch of our daily service marks an important milestone in our network expansion. By providing direct flights to Aleppo, we aim to meet travel demand while strengthening economic, cultural and family connections between the UAE and Syria.”

Hamad Obaidalla, Chief Commercial Officer of flydubai, added:

“Following the resumption of flights to Damascus, we have seen encouraging demand on the route. The launch of our daily Aleppo service offers customers more travel options between Dubai and Syria, particularly during the busy summer travel period.”

Expanding the Syria Network

flydubai resumed flights to Damascus in June 2025 and has since increased operations to three daily services. The airline continues to expand its network, with recent additions including Benghazi and Bangkok, while flights to Pokhara, Nepal, are scheduled to begin in September 2026.
