Stephan Schupbach Appointed as President & Group CEO at Chedi Hospitality

APPOINTMENT

Chedi Hospitality has appointed Stephan Schupbach as President & Group Chief Executive Officer.

In this role, Schupbach will be responsible for leading the group’s long-term strategic direction, overseeing brand positioning, and managing the performance of its hospitality and branded residences portfolio.

He brings more than three decades of experience in luxury hospitality and has held senior leadership roles across hotel groups operating in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and Asia.

Since joining Chedi Hospitality, Schupbach has been involved in advancing the group’s global strategy and strengthening relationships with owners, partners, and development stakeholders.

In his expanded role, he will oversee several strategic initiatives supporting the group’s expansion plans. This includes leading the launch of a new Chedi boutique brand, aimed at extending the group’s design-led and culturally focused philosophy into new market segments.

He will also lead the development of a dedicated food and beverage business vertical, focused on creating signature culinary brands and standalone dining concepts intended to strengthen the group’s presence across key markets and lifestyle-driven sectors.

These initiatives are part of the group’s plans to expand its global footprint while maintaining a focus on authenticity, craftsmanship, and cultural storytelling.
