APPOINTMENT

Grand Hyatt Mumbai has announced the appointment of Prasad Prabhu as its new Learning and Development Manager.
Prabhu brings over 18 years of experience across well-known hospitality brands, with a background in leadership development, colleague engagement, and service culture training.
In this role, Prabhu will lead the property’s learning and development framework, focusing on strengthening leadership pipelines, integrating Hyatt’s core values into daily operations, and ensuring training initiatives are aligned with business and service objectives. He will also work closely with department heads to enhance colleague capabilities and support career growth pathways within the organization.

Prabhu is an alumnus of the Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, where he completed his PGDBA in General Management. He also holds a B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Goa, along with a Food Production Craft Course certification from the Institute of Hotel Management, Mumbai.

Over the years, he has held learning and development roles at several prominent hospitality chains, including The Indian Hotels Company Limited (Taj Hotels), InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), The Leela Kempinski, The Zuri Hospitality Group, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Before this appointment, he served as Learning Manager at Grand Hyatt Goa. During his tenure there, he also contributed as an ASPAC Master Trainer for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, facilitating leadership and trainer development workshops across the Asia Pacific region.
