EVT Connect Hospitality Appoints Mitchell Hacene as Director of Sales and Marketing – Sydney Portfolio

EVT Connect Hospitality has appointed Mitchell Hacene as Director of Sales and Marketing for its Sydney portfolio, effective July 2026. In this role, he will oversee sales and marketing functions for Kimpton Margot Sydney and Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point.

Hacene has been associated with EVT Connect Hospitality since 2023, when he joined as Senior Director of Sales – Luxury & Lifestyle Portfolio. In that position, he managed sales strategy and commercial performance across a portfolio of hotels in Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to this, he was part of the pre-opening team at Kimpton Margot Sydney, where he served as Business Development Director and was responsible for sales strategy and business development across multiple market segments.

Earlier in his career, he worked with InterContinental Sydney as Account Director, managing corporate accounts and revenue-related activities. He also held the role of Business Development Executive at InterContinental Melbourne The Rialto, where he focused on group business, events, and client relationship management.

With experience across sales, business development, and commercial strategy in the hospitality sector, Hacene brings an understanding of multi-property portfolio management and market positioning.

In his current role, he will be responsible for leading sales and marketing initiatives across the Sydney properties within the EVT Connect Hospitality portfolio.
