JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa Appoints Manoj Kumar as Director of Finance

JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa has appointed Manoj Kumar as Director of Finance. In this role, he will oversee financial operations, including reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, regulatory compliance, and capital expenditure planning.

Manoj is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of experience in financial management within the hospitality sector. He has previously worked with JW Marriott Mussoorie, where he was part of the finance team from 2018 to 2021, contributing to financial operations and compliance processes.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Financial Controller at Jaipur Marriott Hotel. He has also worked with The Westin Himalayas Resort & Spa, Ibis Pune Viman Nagar, and Niranta Airport Transit Hotel & Lounge. Earlier in his career, he held finance roles at Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini, progressing from General Ledger Executive to Assistant Manager – Finance.

Manoj’s experience includes financial reporting, audit management, budgeting, taxation, and systems implementation. He has been involved in accounting platform transitions and audit processes across multiple properties.

Manoj holds a Chartered Accountant qualification and an IFRS certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Delhi. He has experience working with financial and hospitality systems such as PeopleSoft, Sun Systems, Opera, FMC, and Tally.

In his new role at JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut, he will work with the leadership team to support financial planning and operational requirements at the resort.
