Nishanth Vishwanath Appointed Multi-property General Manager at The St. Regis Mumbai and Courtyard by Marriott Agra
The St. Regis Mumbai has announced the appointment of Nishanth Vishwanath as Multi-property General Manager. In this role, he will oversee operations at The St. Regis Mumbai and Courtyard by Marriott Agra, focusing on enhancing guest experiences and supporting the hotels’ business objectives.
With over two decades of experience at Marriott International, Nishanth has held leadership roles across various regions in India and South Asia. He began his career in 2001 at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel in the Food & Beverage division, where he went on to hold senior positions contributing to hotel operations, F&B positioning, and event management.
His leadership journey has included roles at JW Marriott Pune, Renaissance Mumbai, JW Marriott Bengaluru, and Courtyard by Marriott Chennai. He later served as Area Director – Operations for South & East India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, where he was responsible for strengthening Marriott’s operational presence across the region.
Nishanth is recognized for a leadership approach that emphasizes team development, mentoring, and collaboration. He has been involved in pre-opening assignments and has worked closely with teams to build operational effectiveness while prioritizing guest engagement.
A graduate in hotel management from Mangalore University, Nishanth is interested in travel, culture, history, fitness, and reading.
