Upender Singh Tomar Appointed as General Manager of Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur

Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, the first property under the newly launched Mementos brand by ITC Hotels, has announced the appointment of Upender Singh Tomar as General Manager.

With over 15 years of experience, Upender brings expertise in strategic leadership, revenue growth, and guest experience management. He began his career in 2006 as a WelcomLegionnaire and is an alumnus of the ITC Hospitality Management Institute (formerly Welcomgroup Management Institute). He has also been part of the LEAD Programme at IIM Ahmedabad, which has equipped him with insights into commercial strategy and revenue management.

Over the years, Upender has held leadership positions at ITC Sonar (Kolkata), ITC Grand Chola (Chennai), ITC Maratha (Mumbai), ITC Gardenia (Bengaluru), and ITC Kakatiya (Hyderabad), where he focused on team development, operational efficiency, and enhancing guest experiences.

Speaking on his new role, Upender said: “My endeavour will be to further enrich the guest stays with personalized services, authentic local experiences, and sustainable practices that reflect the ethos of ITC Hotels. I look forward to working with our team and building on the strong foundation laid here. This city is a destination like no other, and I would like to showcase the unseen Udaipur through the lens of Mementos” he went on to say.
