JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa Appoints Manikandan Sivamoorthy as Executive Pastry Chef

JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa has appointed Manikandan Sivamoorthy as its Executive Pastry Chef, strengthening its culinary leadership team as the property continues to focus on its dining and banqueting offerings.
Chef Mani brings over two decades of experience in bakery and pastry operations across luxury hotels and resorts in India and international markets. In his new role, he will lead pastry and bakery functions across the resort, overseeing dessert offerings for restaurants, banqueting, in-room dining, and events.
His expertise spans artisan breads, laminated viennoiserie, plated desserts, chocolate work, sugar artistry, and large-scale pastry production. His operational experience also includes cost management, inventory planning, and food safety compliance.
Prior to this role, he served as Executive Pastry Chef at a luxury resort in Udaipur, managing pastry operations for a large-format property with extensive banquet infrastructure. He has also held senior pastry leadership roles in Pune and Bengaluru, overseeing multi-outlet operations and high-volume dining environments.
His international experience includes assignments in the Maldives, Mongolia, and Seychelles, where he contributed to pastry programmes for luxury resorts and city hotels. Earlier in his career, he was part of pre-opening teams across hospitality properties in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, and Kochi, gaining experience in production bakeries and banquet-focused operations.
Chef Mani has completed advanced workshops with pastry specialists and holds an MBA along with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Chef Mani’s appointment will focus on refining dessert menus across dining venues while supporting the resort’s broader culinary operations.
