Emirates Unveils UAE Flag Livery on Airbus A380

Emirates A380 Receives New UAE Flag Design as Part of National Campaign

Emirates has introduced a new UAE flag livery on one of its Airbus A380 aircraft as part of the airline’s participation in the ‘This Flag Will Always Fly’ campaign launched in the United Arab Emirates.

The special design has been applied to aircraft A6-EVG and features an extended UAE flag flowing across both sides of the fuselage. The livery expands on Emirates’ existing tail design, which already carries the national colours across its global fleet.

The campaign follows a nationwide initiative led by Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, encouraging citizens and residents to raise the UAE flag as a symbol of unity and national identity.

Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said the airline was proud to participate in the initiative and described the new livery as a tribute to the UAE and its people.

The aircraft has already operated flights to destinations including New York and Brisbane, with plans for the special livery to appear on additional A380 routes across the Emirates network.

Emirates also confirmed that the UAE flag design will later be applied to a Boeing 777 aircraft.

The airline has a history of using special liveries to celebrate significant national milestones. In 2017, during the Year of Zayed celebrations, the airline introduced an aircraft featuring a tribute to the late Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. This was later followed by liveries dedicated to Expo 2020 Dubai across its fleet.
