The Singapore Tourism Board has announced that the main Merlion statue at Merlion Park will undergo cleaning and maintenance on December 4, 2024. During this time, the central Merlion statue will be covered in scaffolding, making it unavailable for photographs. However, visitors are welcome to take photos of the nearby Merlion cub statue at Merlion Park. The board appreciates the public’s understanding, as the maintenance work and barricades may cause some inconvenience during this period.
