IHCL Signs Taj Resort in Ranthambore
Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announced the signing of a new resort in Sawai Madhopur district, Rajasthan, under the Taj brand. This is a greenfield project.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO of IHCL, said, “IHCL has long supported tourism in Rajasthan. Improved connectivity to Sawai Madhopur provides opportunities for hospitality development and easier access to Ranthambore National Park. We are pleased to partner with Vanivinayak Hospitality LLP on this project.”
The 75-key eco-sensitive wildlife resort is designed to complement the natural surroundings. Accommodations will include suites and villas with private courtyards and plunge pools. The resort will feature an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant, a bar, a safari lounge, meeting spaces, a heated swimming pool, Taj’s J Wellness Circle spa, a fitness centre, and a salon. Following IHCL’s ESG+ framework, the property will incorporate solar-powered amenities, rainwater harvesting, and locally sourced materials.
