Ethiopian Airlines Begins Three Weekly Flights to Mauritius
Ethiopian Airlines has launched a new passenger service between Addis Ababa and Mauritius, further expanding its network across Africa.
The new route commenced operations on 12 July 2026 and will operate three times a week, improving air connectivity between Mauritius and Ethiopian Airlines’ global network.
Improving Regional Connectivity
The new service links Mauritius with Addis Ababa, the airline’s main hub, providing passengers with onward connections to destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
The route is expected to support tourism, trade and business travel while strengthening ties between Ethiopia and Mauritius.

Mauritius is known for its tourism, cultural heritage, and expanding economy, making it a valuable part of the airlines’ African network.
The direct connection is expected to offer travellers more convenient travel options while encouraging greater economic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries.

Passengers travelling on the route will have access to Ethiopian Airlines’ modern fleet and convenient onward connections through Addis Ababa.
