Wyndham Hotels & Resorts Reports Third Quarter 2025 Results

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced its financial results for the three months ended September 30, 2025. The company reported moderate growth across key operational and financial metrics, with steady progress in its development pipeline and shareholder returns.

Operational Highlights:

  • Global system-wide rooms increased 4% year-over-year, totaling 855,400 rooms, including 503,400 in the U.S. and 352,000 internationally.

  • Wyndham awarded 204 new development contracts, up 24% compared to Q3 2024.

  • The global development pipeline grew 4% year-over-year to 257,000 rooms, with roughly 70% in midscale and above segments and 58% internationally.

  • Ancillary revenues rose 18% compared to the same period in 2024.

Financial Performance:

  • Net income increased 3% to $105 million, while adjusted net income grew 2% to $112 million, or decreased 2% on a comparable basis.

  • Diluted earnings per share rose 5% to $1.36, and adjusted diluted EPS increased 5% to $1.46, or 1% on a comparable basis.

  • Adjusted EBITDA increased 2% to $213 million, remaining flat on a comparable basis.

  • Global RevPAR declined 5% in constant currency, reflecting a 5% decline in the U.S. and a 2% decline internationally, with softer results primarily in Asia Pacific and Latin America offset partially by gains in EMEA and Canada.

Liquidity and Balance Sheet:

  • The company generated $86 million in net cash from operating activities and $97 million in free cash flow during the quarter.

  • Wyndham ended Q3 with $70 million in cash and total liquidity of approximately $540 million.

  • The net debt leverage ratio was 3.5x, within the company’s target range of 3–4x.

  • In October 2025, Wyndham refinanced its $750 million revolving credit facility, extending the maturity to October 2030, increasing capacity to $1 billion, and reducing borrowing costs by 35 basis points.

Shareholder Returns:

  • The company repurchased 830,000 shares for $70 million in Q3 2025. Year-to-date, 2.5 million shares were repurchased for $223 million.

  • Dividends of $31 million, or $0.41 per share, were paid during the quarter.

Full-Year 2025 Outlook:

  • Expected global room growth: 4.0%–4.6%

  • Global RevPAR growth: (3%)–(2%)

  • Fee-related and other revenues: $1.43–$1.45 billion

  • Adjusted EBITDA: $715–$725 million

  • Adjusted net income: $347–$358 million

  • Adjusted diluted EPS: $4.48–$4.62

  • Adjusted free cash flow conversion: ~57%
