Prasanna Thiruvenkadam Appointed as Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott Tirupati

Courtyard by Marriott Tirupati has announced the appointment of Prasanna Thiruvenkadam as Director of Sales.

Prasanna brings over a decade of experience in hospitality sales, with a background in business development, revenue growth, and market strategy across competitive markets. He was also part of the hotel’s pre-opening team, contributing to the development of its sales framework ahead of launch.

In his new role, he will lead the hotel’s sales and business development strategy, with a focus on strengthening commercial performance and positioning the property within Tirupati’s hospitality and spiritual tourism market. His responsibilities include overseeing key segments such as spiritual travel, leisure, corporate, MICE, weddings, social events, and travel trade.

Prior to joining Marriott International, he held sales leadership roles with Accor, where he gained experience across the South Indian market, including Coimbatore and Chennai. He has also worked with Hilton and Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, building experience across global hospitality brands.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in developing market strategies, managing client relationships, and supporting revenue-driven initiatives across multiple business segments.

In his new role, he will contribute to strengthening the hotel’s market presence and engagement with guests and business partners in the region.
