Hyatt Regency Chandigarh Appoints Chef Balvinder Lubana as Executive Chef

Hyatt Regency Chandigarh has appointed Chef Balvinder Lubana as Executive Chef.
Chef Lubana brings over 17 years of culinary experience across leading luxury hospitality brands, including The Oberoi Group, Taj Hotels, Marriott International, and Hyatt. His professional journey reflects expertise in culinary operations, menu development, and team leadership.
In his new role, he will lead the hotel’s culinary operations, including restaurants, banqueting, and in-room dining, while overseeing menu innovation, quality standards, and kitchen management.

Chef Lubana is known for his approach to blending regional flavours with global influences, with a focus on evolving dining trends, ingredient-driven menus, and operational efficiency. His experience includes developing culinary concepts, managing teams, and delivering consistent dining experiences.

He has also served as a member of the APEC Culinary Advisory Board (2024–25), reflecting his engagement with industry initiatives and culinary development.
