The Westin Goa Appoints Ganesh Tayade as Director of Loss Prevention

The Westin Goa has announced the appointment of Ganesh Tayade as Director of Loss Prevention. He brings over 14 years of experience in security operations, loss prevention, and safety compliance across Marriott International properties.

Ganesh Tayade most recently served as Assistant Director of Loss Prevention (Head of Department) at Aloft Bangalore Outer Ring Road. He has managed end-to-end security operations, including risk assessment, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.

His career includes roles at Courtyard by Marriott Nashik, Fairfield by Marriott Pune Kharadi, JW Marriott Pune, and Courtyard by Marriott Pune City Center.

He has extensive experience in pre-opening operations and crisis management, having led initiatives such as COVID-19 safety protocols, International Security Risk Assessment (ISRA) audits, fire and life safety compliance, and emergency preparedness training. His expertise also includes implementing SOPs and LSOPs, conducting investigations, managing large-scale events, and coordinating with local authorities.

A certified professional in fire safety, first aid, and emergency response, he has completed training with St. John Ambulance and Usha Fire Safety Equipments Pvt. Ltd.. He has also led multiple training programs on crisis management and safety procedures.

Over the years, he has received recognitions such as Best Executive of the Year and Associate of the Month for his performance and leadership.
