Kennebunkport Resort Collection Appoints Melissa Sheffer as General Manager

Kennebunkport Resort Collection has appointed Melissa Sheffer as General Manager, overseeing Hidden Pond Resort, Cape Arundel Inn & Resort, and The Tides Beach Club in Maine.

In her new role, Sheffer will be responsible for managing operations across the three properties, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences, strengthening service culture, and ensuring operational consistency. She will also support team development while maintaining the distinct identity of each property within the collection.

Sheffer brings extensive experience in luxury hospitality operations, with a background spanning independent resorts, boutique hotels, and high-end vacation rental management.

Prior to this appointment, she served as Director of Rooms at Woodstock Inn & Resort. She also held the role of Director of Property Operations at Stowe Country Homes, where she managed a portfolio of luxury vacation rentals.

Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Jay Peak Resort and Enchantment Resort, gaining experience in operations management and team leadership.

Her appointment reflects Kennebunkport Resort Collection’s continued focus on strengthening leadership and delivering elevated hospitality experiences across its portfolio.
