APPOINTMENT
ibis has announced the appointment of Sachin Maheshwary as the new Cluster General Manager for ibis Mumbai.

The move strengthens the brand’s leadership presence in one of its most competitive markets in India.
Sachin brings over two decades of experience across luxury, upscale, and economy segments, with extensive expertise in operational excellence, people-first leadership, and brand strategies. In his new role, he will oversee the ibis portfolio in Mumbai, focusing on operational efficiency, guest experience enhancement, and long-term growth.
Sachin has held key leadership roles with renowned hospitality brands including IHCL and Accor, spearheading several key openings, large-scale renovations, and F&B initiatives.
Most recently, he served as General Manager of Novotel Goa Resort and Spa and Novotel Goa Candolim, while also taking on the role of F&B Alchemist for Accor India and South Asia.

Commenting on the appointment, Tejus Jose, Director of Operations, ibis and ibis Styles India, said “Sachin’s hands-on operational understanding and collaborative leadership style make him well suited for the Mumbai market, where performance, consistency, and guest satisfaction are critical.“
