Waldorf Astoria New York Introduces Limited-Time In-Room “Wake Up” Brunch Experience
Waldorf Astoria New York has launched The Waldorf Astoria Wake Up, a limited-time in-room brunch experience created in partnership with Hilton Honors and American Express. Available for stays now through February 17, 2026 (blackout dates apply), the offering brings a signature Waldorf Astoria dining ritual directly to the guest room.
Designed for two guests, the experience features a curated menu inspired by classic Waldorf Astoria dishes, presented with updated touches. A white-gloved attendant prepares the hotel’s Waldorf Salad bedside, referencing the dish first created in the 1890s by maître d’ Oscar Tschirky.
What’s Included
The in-room brunch for two includes:
Eggs Benedict with caviar
Waldorf Salad
Red Velvet Pain Suisse
Freshly brewed coffee
A split bottle of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs champagne
The experience also reflects Waldorf Astoria New York’s place in hospitality history. The hotel helped popularise iconic dishes such as the Waldorf Salad and Eggs Benedict and introduced 24-hour room service in 1931, influencing how luxury hotels approach in-room dining.
