Chatrium Hospitality Group to open its First Resort in Phuket in 2026

Thai hotel group Chatrium Hospitality will open its first resort at Chatrium Rawai Phuket in 2026.

Located on the southern shores of the island, the resort will feature 304 contemporary rooms, suites, pool villas, and balconies facing the Andaman Sea.

Other key amenities will also include family accommodations, including a kids’ club, splash pool, and Wellness & Spa Center

Dining is offered across several settings, including a seafood-focused all-day restaurant inspired by a traditional fisherman’s market, a poolside restaurant and bar serving light meals and beverages, and a lobby lounge designed for informal dining and refreshments.

Located along Rawai Beach, the area provides access to nearby coral reefs, diving spots and surrounding islands, with long-tail boats operating regular services from the shoreline. The destination is suited to travellers looking for a quieter coastal base while remaining close to outdoor activities. Rawai retains a strong local identity, supported by an active fishing community and the Sea Gypsy Village, where fresh seafood is sold directly by fishermen. The area also serves as a starting point for visits to nearby attractions such as Promthep Cape and Ya Nui Beach.

Chatrium Rawai Phuket is approximately a 30–40 minute drive from Phuket Old Town and around 90 minutes from Phuket International Airport.
