Qatar Airways and Air Algérie Launch Codeshare Partnership to Enhance Network Connectivity

Qatar Airways boosts network with 18 new codeshare routes

Qatar Airways and Air Algérie have announced a new codeshare partnership to enhance connectivity between Algeria and key destinations across Asia and the Middle East via Hamad International Airport. Travellers can book codeshare flights starting today for travel from 15 November 2025.

Expanding on their existing interline relationship, the partnership allows Qatar Airways customers to access Algiers and six additional cities within Air Algérie’s domestic network, including Annaba, Constantine, Oran, Tamanrasset, Timimoun, and Tindouf. Members of Qatar Airways Privilege Club will also be able to earn Avios on codeshare flights operated by Air Algérie.

Conversely, Air Algérie customers will gain improved access to Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and Muscat through Qatar Airways’ network, with plans to extend the codeshare to more destinations in the future.

It reflects our ongoing efforts to expand strategic partnerships that improve global connectivity through our Doha hub.”

Samy El Karim Boutemadja, Head of Commercial Division at Air Algérie, added: “Our collaboration with Qatar Airways will enable us to expand our reach in the Middle East and Asia while providing more travel options for our customers. This partnership aligns with our strategy to grow Air Algérie’s network and connectivity through our Algiers hub.”

Qatar Airways currently maintains interline and codeshare partnerships with multiple African carriers and operates flights to 30 cities across 21 countries on the continent.
