Sri Lanka Tourism will conduct a series of roadshows in Madurai (October 6), Coimbatore (October 8), and Chennai (October 10), 2025.

The events are being organised by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) to provide a platform for B2B meetings and networking between Sri Lankan tourism stakeholders and the Indian travel trade.

The delegation will be led by Mr. Vijitha Herath, Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment & Tourism, and Prof. Ruwan Ranasinghe, Hon. Deputy Minister of Tourism, along with officials from SLTPB and SLCB. More than 40 stakeholders, including Destination Management Companies (DMCs), hotels, resorts, and tour operators, will participate.
Each city event is expected to include around 200 Indian travel agents, industry representatives, and media members. The programme will also feature a native cultural dance performance.
The roadshows are part of Sri Lanka Tourism’s continued engagement with the Indian market, focusing on promoting travel for leisure, culture, and MICE segments.
