About Dom Pérignon Vintage and Rosé Vintage

Emirates Named ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ at 2025 Telegraph Travel Awards

Dom Pérignon Vintage blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in nearly equal proportions, producing a white Champagne with a mineral-driven profile and a balanced finish. Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage, by contrast, uses a higher proportion of Pinot Noir, including a still red wine component, giving it additional structure, colour, and depth.

Sourced from Grand Cru vineyards including Aÿ and Bouzy, the 2009 vintage matured for 12 years in cellars before release. It presents aromas of rose petals, orange oil and saffron, followed by notes of raspberry, cherry, cassis, and fig, with undertones of liquorice and gingerbread. The palate combines ripe fruit with smooth texture and a lasting finish.

First Class passengers can check whether Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 will be served on their flight via the “What’s on your flight” option at emirates.com or the Emirates app.

Emirates’ Champagne and Wine Programme

The airline serves a selection of champagnes, including Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2006, Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Blanc 2016, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, and Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc 2015. In Premium Economy, Emirates offers Chandon Vintage Brut 2019.

Over the past 16 years, the airline has invested in its wine programme, purchasing wines early to allow maturation before being served in flight. The airlines’ Wine Cellar in France houses 6.5 million bottles, some of which are reserved for service in future decades.

The airline also offers a curated spirits menu, featuring Hennessy cognacs and a selection of international labels, served across all cabins.
