Ventura AirConnect Launches Regional Flights Linking Surat with Key Cities in Gujarat
Ventura AirConnect has launched flight services connecting Surat with Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Rajkot and Amreli, helping reduce travel time between Surat and the Saurashtra region to as little as 30 minutes on select routes.
The airline has been operating daily services on routes such as Surat–Ahmedabad, Surat–Bhavnagar, Surat–Rajkot and Surat–Amreli for more than 11 years. These flights are operated with 9-seater Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft and are designed to make regional air travel accessible at affordable fares.
Operating from a single base in Surat, Ventura AirConnect has maintained continuous daily services with small aircraft for over a decade and operates under the NSOP (Non-Scheduled Operator Permit) category. The airline said that Surat’s growth and support for aviation have played a key role in sustaining these operations since inception.
To expand its charter services, Ventura AirConnect has recently inducted an 8-seater Pilatus PC-12 aircraft manufactured in Switzerland. The charter offering allows passengers to fly from Surat to destinations of their choice and is aimed at meeting emergency, medical and corporate travel requirements across Gujarat.
Each scheduled flight typically carries up to 9 passengers and 2 pilots. Flight times are approximately 30 minutes to Bhavnagar, 45 minutes to Amreli, and around 60 minutes to Ahmedabad and Rajkot, significantly reducing surface travel time within the state.

The airline has also introduced a dedicated organ transport service after receiving medical approvals to carry human organs between cities. The service is currently operational across Gujarat and is expected to be extended to other states. The aircraft used for this purpose, registered as VT-DEV and named “Dev”, is intended to support time-sensitive medical transfers.
In addition, Ventura AirConnect has set up an aircraft maintenance facility at Surat Airport. The facility is expected to serve aircraft from other parts of the country, providing an alternative maintenance location as larger airports face space and capacity constraints.
The airline’s promoters, Govind Dholakia, Savji Dholakia and Lavji Badshah, have emphasised continuity of regional connectivity as part of their long-term public service approach. Since 2014, more than two lakh passengers have used Ventura AirConnect’s services.

Passengers have noted that the smaller aircraft offer a different flying experience, including visibility into cockpit operations and straightforward seating policies. The airline has also enabled first-time flyers, senior citizens and families to access air travel at nominal fares.
Ventura AirConnect continues to operate daily regional flights across Gujarat. Bookings and information are available through the airline’s website and customer service numbers.
