Sypha AI and BLS International Partner on Visa Technology Upgrade

Sypha AI, an India-based AI software company, has entered into a strategic partnership with BLS International Services Ltd to support the modernisation of visa and consular service platforms across more than 70 countries. The collaboration will focus on developing AI-led digital infrastructure for visa, consular and citizen service operations.

The announcement comes at a time when enterprise AI infrastructure continues to be discussed across policy and industry forums, including the recent India AI Impact Summit held in New Delhi. Sypha AI founder and CEO Shawn Chauhan was among start-up representatives who met Narendra Modi during the summit.

Under the agreement, Sypha AI will deploy its enterprise software engineering platform to update legacy technology systems managed by BLS International. The initiative will focus on strengthening core operational systems that support large-scale government workflows, particularly in regulated environments where compliance and continuity are essential.

Global visa volumes have increased in several markets, alongside tighter screening and documentation requirements. Governments are also seeking improvements in processing timelines and service transparency. The companies state that integrating AI capabilities into system architecture from the outset may support more efficient processing, enhance fraud detection and enable risk-based profiling.

The partnership also addresses evolving data localisation and privacy requirements across jurisdictions. Embedding compliance standards within system design is expected to support interoperability with existing public infrastructure while reducing operational risk.

With international mobility continuing to recover, demand for visa outsourcing services is projected to grow. Within this context, the collaboration reflects a broader shift toward structural technology upgrades in government-facing travel and mobility services.

Shawn Chauhan

Commenting on the partnership, Shawn Chauhan, Founder and CEO of Sypha AI , said, “The partnership reflects how privacy-first AI platforms built in India can power mission-critical public infrastructure globally. He added that the combination of Sypha’s AI-led engineering capabilities and BLS International’s operational depth in government services creates a framework for building secure, scalable and future-ready systems.”

Shikhar Aggarwal, Joint Managing Director, BLS International, said, “AI is redefining the visa and consular services landscape evolving from intelligent automation to advanced risk-based decision making and highly personalised citizen experiences. At BLS International, technology has always been core to how we scale and serve, and our collaboration with Sypha.ai marks the next transformative leap. With AI-driven engineering, we are building smarter, more secure and future-ready digital public infrastructure, and setting new benchmarks for our industry.
