The Venice Times Joins IHG’s Vignette Collection in Italy

IHG Hotels & Resorts has introduced its Vignette Collection brand to Italy with the opening of The Venice Times Hotel, Vignette Collection, in partnership with Pacini Group.

Located in Venice’s Cannaregio district, the 30-room hotel marks the brand’s first property in Italy and further expands IHG’s portfolio in the country.

The hotel has been designed to reflect Venice’s artistic and cultural heritage, with curated artworks displayed throughout the property. Guests can also enjoy the Manuzio Lounge, offering cocktails and traditional Venetian cicchetti, along with access to a private garden.

The property is within walking distance of attractions including Ca’ d’Oro, the Grand Canal, Rialto Bridge and Teatro La Fenice. Venice Santa Lucia Railway Station is approximately 200 metres away, while Marco Polo Airport can be reached in around 20 minutes by shuttle.

Emidio Pacini, CEO and Owner of Pacini Group, said the opening represents another step in the company’s partnership with IHG Hotels & Resorts and reflects a shared commitment to creating hospitality experiences connected to the destination’s local culture and heritage.

MUNAV | Historical Naval Museum of Venice

As part of the Vignette Collection’s Means For Good programme, The Venice Times supports the restoration of the Naval History Museum of Venice through Italy’s Art Bonus initiative, contributing to the preservation of the city’s maritime heritage.

The hotel also introduces its own Memorable Ritual, allowing guests to create personalised postcards using a moveable-type printing kit inspired by Aldo Manuzio, the Renaissance printer who once lived in Venice. The property also plans to host cultural activities with local artisans, including mask-making workshops and photography tours.

The Venice Times joins a growing portfolio of more than 34 Vignette Collection hotels across 17 countries, as IHG continues to expand the brand internationally.
