Swosti Group of Hotels and Resorts Appoints Parikhit Mahanta as Safety and Security Manager

Swosti Group of Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Parikhit Mahanta as Safety and Security Manager, strengthening its operational capabilities in security and safety management.

Mahanta brings over a decade of experience in hotel security, including involvement in multiple pre-opening luxury hospitality projects. Prior to joining Swosti Group, he served as Chief Security Officer at Centre Point Group Enterprise in Shillong.

Earlier in his career, he was associated with Essentia Luxury Hotel Indore, where he spent over three years progressing from Security Team Leader to Assistant Manager – Security, taking on head of department responsibilities. He has also worked as Security Supervisor at Mayfair Tea Resort Siliguri and as Security Associate at Novotel and ibis Chennai OMR, contributing to pre-opening operations.

His professional experience further includes roles with Aloft Chennai and Radisson Blu Chennai, strengthening his exposure to security operations across leading hospitality brands.

In his new role, Mahanta will oversee security systems and protocols across the property, including CCTV monitoring, access control, fire safety systems, and emergency response procedures. His responsibilities will also include conducting safety inspections, managing security audits, and coordinating emergency preparedness initiatives.

He has experience in managing security arrangements during VIP visits and has previously coordinated mock drills with national security agencies and local authorities.

Mahanta has completed training in fire prevention and firefighting and holds working knowledge of access control systems, visitor management systems, and security technologies.
