Summit Hotels & Resorts has appointed Arun Daga as General Manager of Summit Green Village Resort & Spa, Kaziranga, strengthening its leadership presence in one of Northeast India’s key wildlife tourism destinations.

With nearly three decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Daga brings extensive expertise in hotel operations, guest services, team management, and property administration. He is a graduate of the University of Calcutta and holds a qualification in Hotel Management from BILAMS.

In his new role, Daga will oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort, focusing on enhancing guest experiences, driving operational excellence, and strengthening the property’s positioning within the region’s growing tourism landscape.

Commenting on the appointment, Sumit Mitruka, CEO of Summit Hotels & Resorts, said that Daga’s operational expertise and deep understanding of hospitality make him a valuable addition to the organisation. He added that his leadership is expected to further enhance guest experiences and overall operational performance at the Kaziranga property.

The appointment comes as Summit Hotels & Resorts continues to expand its footprint across the Eastern Himalayan and Northeast regions, with a focus on delivering destination-driven hospitality experiences.
