Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts Appoints Krishan Mohan Tara as Director Operations (India & Africa)

Eight Continents Hotels & Resorts has appointed Krishan Mohan Tara as Director Operations (India & Africa).

In this role, he will oversee operational functions across the company’s portfolio in the two regions, with a focus on standardisation, performance management, and supporting business growth initiatives.

Tara brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a background in hotel operations, guest services, revenue management, and team leadership. His career includes senior management roles across multiple hospitality brands.

Prior to this appointment, he was associated with Sarovar Hotels, where he most recently served as General Manager in Gurugram. His previous roles also include Area General Manager and General Manager positions in Bhavnagar. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Mansingh Hotels and Resorts, ITC WelcomHeritage, and Concept Hospitality, along with operational roles at Taj Hotels & Resorts and Holiday Inn Agra.

His experience includes managing hotel operations, overseeing pre-opening activities, and handling front office, sales, and revenue functions across properties.

The appointment aligns with Eight Continents Hotels’focus on strengthening operational capabilities and supporting its expansion across India and Africa.
